Polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE, is a high molecular polymer. Because it has the characteristics of high and low temperature resistance, non-sticking, acid and alkali resistance, it is widely used in chemical machinery, marine testing equipment, anti-adhesive tooling fixtures and other industries.
The Polytetrafluoroethylene sheet is processed by CNC and made into a special fixture. In the lens bonding tooling, it is used as a bottom plate. During use, all kinds of glue will not stick to it, and the remaining glue can be easily removed.
In chemical laboratories, when testing in an acid-base environment, PTFE is very suitable as a material to make parts. Because polytetrafluoroethylene is a special plastic, it cannot be produced by injection molding and can only be manufactured by mechanical processing methods. However, it is difficult to achieve high precision. Because PTFE is soft and easy to deform, it is easy to deform when clamped by machine tools. To process high-precision parts, materials such as nylon and polyacetal can be used to process parts. Polytetrafluoroethylene is not used as a force-bearing component, but only as an auxiliary material for anti-corrosion, anti-sticking, insulation, lubrication and sealing.
